Tote Board - Arts Fund
“Covers NPOs, informal groups of artists and individual Singaporeans/Permanent Residents (who are recognised by their peers as practising artists) of the following genres:
a) Music, dance, theatre, musical theatre and multi-disciplinary performances
b) Visual arts (including photography) exhibitions
c) Literary arts events (e.g readings, poetry performances)
Additionally, projects must fulfil one or more of the following criteria:
a) Stage a performance/exhibition in non-conventional venues like community centre, school, pavilion, void deck, park, or outdoor space with a residential catchment
b) Demonstrate efforts to reach out to underserved segments by ensuring better accessibility through choice of project venue or content, or involving them in the production/creative process
c) Demonstrate efforts to engage audience effectively and improve their understanding of the project by incorporating interpretative or educational components (i.e pre/post show talks)
d) Effort for deeper engagement of the community, such as participation of the community in the production/creation process”

“- Applications will not be considered if they fall under any of the following categories: a) Late applications b) Incomplete applications c) Applicants did not submit or submitted incomplete post performance report(s), statement(s) of income and expenditure from previous Arts Fund approved projects d) Applicants have already received 3 Arts Fund grants in the current financial year based on the dates of the grant offers, regardless of when projects take place – Payment of the grant will be made on a reimbursement basis to successful applicants after the Arts Fund Committee has received the post performance report and statement of accounts”
